Facebooking

This week I had a small, let’s say , surprise. I’ve been using Facebook since 2007 and since then I can say I’ve become an addict…. Why do I say this? Well…maybe because the first thing I do in the morning is to check my Facebook page and, guess what, the last thing I do before I go to bed is to check my FB page….Even when I’m on holiday I feed the urge to post something on my wall or to read the latest “news”.
Now coming back to the main issue here, this week a friend called me and asked me what I was doing…and my answer was “I’m faceboking”. This is certainly not a word….but I’m rather curious if, somewhere in the future, it won’t become one. You know how we use “GOOGLE it” or “I’m GOOGLEing this right now” or “can you please XEROX this?”….well….as FB has become a huge part of our lives, we could as well start saying “I’m FACEBOOKing” = I’m on Facebook, updating my status and checking out what my friends are doing…
Who ever thought FB would become such a huge success…?
